Red Rock is one of the USA's premier multi-pitch trad climbing areas. The soaring rainbow-colored walls appear devoid of holds from below. However, the desert wind and rain have sculpted edges and flakes within the Aztec sandstone. This enables big walls to be climbed at relatively moderate grades.
